*0 Lead Magnet Roadmap for Lead Generation using Landing Pages

If you are doing any sort of lead generation using landing pages  (or want to), you may get confused about the steps it takes to get your entire lead cycle set up for automated success.  In this special lesson, let's go through the steps you want to be sure you take to get your lead machine running smoothly and automatically.

The following steps will take you through all of the things you want to be sure you do (in order) to create your lead magnet, automate your drip campaign inside of EngageMore CRM, deliver the offer with ease and then track the activity of your lead(s) so you don't miss a hot buying sign.

STEP 1.  Choose 1-2 Niches and your Audience - very hyper-local and community/area niches are ideal.

STEP 2.  Determine an appropriate lead magnet for that niche and audience.  We suggest that the niche you choose can easily be marketed to an audience of your choice.  Ideas include:

a) List of properties for sale - for Buyers

b) Weekly Market Updates - For Buyers or Sellers

c) Guides - Home Buyer, Home Seller, First Time Home Buyer, Relocation

d) Free webinar - Home Buying Process, Mortgage Programs (with your favorite lender)

e) Checklist - Home Search, Home Viewing, Staging, Buying, Selling

STEP 3.  Create your lead magnet - a URL property search link on your website and/or a pdf that can be downloaded.  Add that download to your website or somewhere, such as Google Drive. For PDF downloads, consider Canva or a WORD document that you can save as a PDF.  Add links back to your website in your PDF documents too!  We suggest you add your lead magnet to your website if you can, so people can also begin using your website.  Create a page or a blog post.

STEP 4.  Create your Landing Page - either inside here at EngageMore CRM, your website or other landing page software of your choice.  If you use landing pages within EngageMore CRM, you don't have to worry about integration, just go to the Actions tab of your landing page and be sure to add a drip campaign to start when someone signs up.  Learn more about EngageMore CRM landing pages HERE.  For any other landing page service, you will need Zapier to integrate and implement a drip campaign and automatically add to your EngageMore CRM account.  Learn about Zapier integrations HERE

STEP 5.  Create a Blog/Page on your website with property search results that would match that niche and your intended audience.  CLICK HERE FOR AN EXAMPLE.   Copy the URL and be sure to add it to your email template(s) you add to your drip campaign in Step 6 below.

STEP 6.  Create your 12-month engagement drip campaign that you want to  automate when someone signs up for your lead magnet.  Be sure to edit the campaign to send out your lead magnet offer immediately upon sign up. Learn how HERE.  We also suggest that you implement a recurring drip campaign to send your leads to your site to view the listing page you created in Step 5 Above.  Learn more about recurring campaigns in EngageMore CRM HERE

STEP 7:  Now, post your landing page link anywhere you want.  Consider shortening up the link using bit.ly or Rebrandly link shortener.  EngageMore CRM provides you a shortened link option inside your landing page list.  Be sure to call the lead immediately, if you have received a phone number.  Managing and tracking activity of your lead is key, so don't miss our lesson on mining your database HERE

STEP 8:  Optional lead tracking suggestion is to set up a Contact Counter widget on your home screen and an Intelligent Link for your lead magnet URL so you can see who is clicking on your offer. If you are using the landing pages within EngageMore CRM, you could also add the Landing Page Widget to your dashboard too so you you can quickly track how many people are clicking/signing up for your lead offer.  Remember...tracking your activity on your dashboard are hot buying signs for you and those signs help you to spend your time prospecting your database for those that are more apt to work with you than not.
