*How to Send an Email to One Contact
In this lesson, you will learn how to send one email to one contact. Whether you send a template or create a personalized email, this lesson will show you how to send the email, how to add an attachment and how to track any email response you get from your contact. Search or find your contact from the contact list page, the search tool in upper right corner, or the side bar rolodex:
Once inside the contact card of your contact, simply click on the email address. The email must be marked GREEN, which means the contact's email has been opted in to receive emails from you. See training on opting in contacts to receive email if you have not already watched, it's important to understand when you can, and cannot, send an email to your contacts. From there, you have a choice to send a premade template, or create an email of your own. You can also choose to attach a document too. If you choose a template, you can also edit that template before you send it. Add the %%footter%% field to pull in your footer you have previously added at the email footer settings. Click send when ready. Responses to your emails will go to your personal inbox (ie: your gmail account). We recommend you copy and paste any responses you get to the notes within your contact card to track all communication.
