JS8 Setting up your Footer & Header Field Template

Before you start using the email templates built for you within EngageMore, YOU MUST WATCH THIS TRAINING!  In this lesson, we will show you how to create your header and footer.  This is so very important because the footer is your signature line and every template within EngageMore uses the footer field to automatically load in your signature line. You will not need to add them one by one to your templates.. thank goodness!  This way, if you ever change brokerage or contact info, you only need to go into the Footer area to change it, instead of every single template.

The footer field looks like this within the email templates %%footer%%.  This field is already added to every email template we have provided to you.

The header field looks like this %%header%% and it is optional and not included in any templates we have provided you.  However, we recommend you add in your header content too, just in case you want to use it later when you create your own templates or want to add it to existing templates.

Here is an example of how your header and footer can look when it sends to your recipients, we simply added our logo in the header and aligned it right in this example.

At minimum, you must set up the Footer!

Now, watch this important video lesson on how to add your Footer and Header content. This must be done BEFORE you start using the drip flow campaigns so do not skip this lesson!!!

To add your footer, go to the Settings tab and click Email Templates.  Then, if you want to add a header, click the header tab.   Edit like you would an email template. You can add images and hyperlinks, but don't add too much.  The more fancy stuff you add, the better chance you have of your email ending up in SPAM.   Watch the tutorial for helpful tips to avoid the Spam folder when creating your footer and headers.
