How to Set Up Email Parsing Integration via Zapier
If you are lead generating and want to get your leads automatically added into EngageMore CRM, you may need to set up an Email Parsing Zap using Zapier. When you would need to do this is only if Zapier does not already have a Zap with the Application you are using. Examples include Realtor.com and Homesnap, for instance. What happens in this case is that your lead provider requires an email address to send the lead to when you get a new lead. This parsing is very helpful for many types of lead sources you may have, but always required if a Zap action already is provided between your lead provider and Zapier.
The first thing you should do is ask your lead provider if they have a zap option inside of Zapier. If they say no, then your next best option is to set up an Email Parsing Zap where you will automate a parse of an email notification of your new incoming lead. The parse will extract the lead contact and detail information into fields. Those fields can then be added to EngageMore CRM with the webhook trigger that is provided with every drip campaign in your account. WE RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THE ENTIRE TRAINING VIDEO BELOW ONE TIME BEFORE YOU START THIS SET UP! Then you can come back and watch it again to set it up.
In a nutshell, here is an overview of the steps you will be taking in this video training:
1. You first need a paid Zapier account. For most, the lowest level option is plenty. Sign up here: https://zapier.com/
2. You will also need to set up an account at: https://parser.zapier.com/login/. Once you sign up, you will want to sign back into your Zapier account via the parsing account. See training below.
3. You will Set up the email parsing as instructed in the training below. This will require a test lead email to come in from your lead provider, which you can send in yourself in most cases. In this training, we are using Realtor.com as an example and they did allow us to send in a test email from the start. If your software does not have a button to send a test email, you need to go to your lead source as a consumer and send in a test. If you cannot do that, then you can ask your lead source provider to send you in a test. YOU NEED A TEST LEAD TO SET UP THE PARSING INBOX TEMPLATE!!
4. You will then set up the connection with your Engagemore CRM account to send the lead into a drip campaign. You will need to have your drip campaign ready. Be sure you have watched how to create a matching campaign. Here are few other trainings to help you get that set up:
