5-How to Manually Start, Stop and Pause Drip Flow Campaigns
Now you have all your campaigns ready to implement, you will want to know how to manually turn on a campaign for a contact. In this lesson, we will show you how to start, stop and pause a drip campaign for one contact at a time. If you wish to turn on a campaign for more than one contact, be sure you have watched the tutorial on Autoresponders.
You can start as many campaigns as you wish for any contact, but do be careful as you don't want to overwhelm your contact with too much communication, as you will run the risk of them opting out. Be sure you have also watched the Campaign Overview training so you know what the campaign does and says, and how to easily edit your campaigns BEFORE you turn on the campaign.
To start a campaign, locate a contact in your contact list and click on it. Once inside the contact card, locate the Drip Flow tab on the left lower side of the card and click it. Then, click Apply Drip flow.
Locate your desired drip flow. You can find it within a drop down and/or search for the flow by typing in a word within the Search icon. Click on the campaign you wish to start.
At this point, you can choose to start a campaign today or a date in the future. Once you decide, click Apply. Depending on the length of the campaign, it may take a few seconds to start.
To Pause or cancel steps within a campaign for a particular contact, go to the contact card of the contact and click Drip Flows. Then click the steps of the campaign you want to pause:
Click Delay Remaining Steps:
To pause the remaining steps of the campaign, click the plus icon for the day, week, years you want to delay. In this example, we have paused it the remaining steps One Month and Two days totaling 32 days. To delete a task or step of the campaign, click the trash can of the step you want to cancel.
To completely stop a full campaign, within the Contact card, click Drip Flow then click the trash can of the campaign you want to stop.
