*6 How to Create/Add Video to an Email and Landing Page

Sending video email is easy inside of EngageMore CRM.  In this lesson, we will show you two ways to do this.  In both instances, you can send a video of ANY length that include a video thumbnail too.  

Note that adding video to an email is a bit different than adding video to your landing pages. This training will discuss adding video to your landing pages too, so don't miss this helpful lesson. 

To create a new video email template or add video to an existing template, go to Settings and then email templates:

If you plan to add video to an existing template, chose the template from the drop down.  To create a new template, choose Add Email Template. 

When creating a new template, be sure to choose Advanced Editor so you can take advantage of the Drag and Drop options template creation. If you wish to create a template from an existing template, you will have a number of options below this area to choose from.  Just click a template available to start.

Name your Template and add to a folder of your choice if you wish.  Click Create & Start Editing.

You can add rows and start of your template with a paragraph content block.  Just drag in the Content boxes you want to begin creating a new template.  

Option 1 for Video Email templates:  To add video that will redirect to either YouTube or Vimeo when the video thumbnail is clicked at any point within your template, be sure drag in Video content block.  Just drag in anywhere you wish within your template.    

Add a Youtube (public or unlisted) URL or a Vimeo URL (public only).  You can also edit the play icon however you wish by clicking the drop down options.  Note that with this option when video thumbnail is clicked, it will be automatically redirect to your YouTube video in Youtube. 

Option 2 for sending video email is to add a thumbnail image to your email template and then add a link to redirect to an EngageMore CRM landing page where a video is added.  Be sure you have created a video landing page within your landing page tools (using the same lesson as shown above).  Copy the live URL of the landing page.  

To create, simply drag in an image block.  

Upload your video thumbnail image and insert it into the template.  

Add the live URL of the EngageMore CRM video landing page to the Action section of your email template when adding your thumbnail image. When the image is clicked, the image will redirect to your video landing page.  The video will play right there inside your landing page and not redirect to YouTube or Vimeo.  Learn more about creating landing pages, including creating a video thumbnail HERE.
